Below is an overview of some of the latest projects I have been involved with and worked on in the world of events and theatre.
Encore at The King Alfred School an Academy – Pre-viz, Lighting Designer & Operator
In July 2025, ‘Encore’ – a 2 night spectacular featuring over 20 numbers from the West End and Broadway. This was a particularly intensive show to produce and design for due to the shear quantity of different styles of numbers due to be performed. Each requiring several hours of pre-visualisation work to produce a sophisticated, suitable and personal look while ensuring there was clear differentiation between each. Taking over 100 hours to produce this has once again been a huge undertaking to bring to life.

Grease at The King Alfred School an Academy – Lighting Designer & Operator
In March 2025, Grease took to the stage in another vibrant and upbeat production. The show required an array of different lighting states and conditions to match mood, tempo and atmosphere of each scene.

Sister Act at The King Alfred School an Academy – Lighting Designer & Operator
One of my favourite and proudest shows to date has been the TKASA production of Sister Act in March 2024. Delivering a vibrant, colourful and extremely dynamic lighting design was (as ever) crucial to me.

Sister Act at The Princess Theatre – Lighting Designer & Operator
Following on from the successful run of Sister Act at TKASA, the show was taken out directly into the community with the same cast into the professional theatre environment. Despite the show being the same, from my perspective it was like delivering a brand new show due to being in a completely different location, with a different lighting rig, space and budget available to me; all while in the back of my mind remembering that many people had seen the original run and therefore it had to live up to the expectations the show had created.

A Night At The Musicals – Install, Lighting Designer & Operator
I was asked to install, design, and operate all aspects of lighting for a cabaret-style night of varied performances from musicals of the past and present. It was extremely past-paced event with varying styles of performances which meant that deep thought and consideration had to be put into my lighting design choices at every moment.

Dance / Performing Arts Exam Performances – Install, Lighting Designer & Operator
I was in charge of creating lighting designs for a variety of upbeat, dance perfomances for an examination. This required extensive research into potential designs, colour symbolism and lastly, timecoding the lighting so it was repeatable for all performances.

Burnham Pantomime (BDPS) – Lighting Designer & Operator
For several years I have been heavily involved in the creative process of lighting design and operation for the BDPS annual Pantomime held each January, gradually taking on more responsibility each year.

A Level C1 Exam Performance – Lighting Designer & Operator
For my own A Level Drama perfomance component, I chose to be assessed via lighting design. Therefore, it was my responsibility to devise creative, meaningful and emotive lighting for a devised performance.
